Say a Little Prayer

When I feel down I need to look at what I have not what I think I should.

I need to give thanks for what I have not should, nor would, nor could.

(Chorus)

Say a little prayer for the simple things

Say a little prayer for the love he brings

Say a little prayer to God above

And thank Him for his love

Think about soap and water and water too

If I didn’t  have or how about you

We’d all smell worse than old tennis shoes

I’m glad I have soap and YOU do too.

(Chorus)

Think about elbows.  Sure are neat.

Nothing beats your butt for sitting on a seat.

Without these parts it’d sure be a feat

Sitting at the dinner table trying to eat.

(Chorus)

So I say a little prayer for my underwear

Fits in all the right places.  Feels good down there.

Feel a lot safer when I move around.

Give thanks and don’t feel down.

(Chorus)

Think About toothbrushes sure are fine.

Wash out last night’s dinner, yesterday’s wine.

Kissed a few girls in my time.

Never once had to suck on no slime.

(Chorus)

Without no gravity where would you be?

Would you be here?  Maybe hanging from a tree?

Well God gave us gravity so you’re right here.

And I’m glad you’re here to listen to my prayers.

(Chorus)and out…….
