Tijuana Dreaming

Life in the city is awful

The people the traffic the crime

On the highways they’re rude.

In the subways they’re crude.

And at night on the streets they are slime.

I’m sitting here with my Fritos and beer

And bean dip that’s fresh from the can

When this twelve pack is done

Think I’ll move to the sun

And the tropical Mexican sand

(Chorus)

I think I’ll move to Tijuana

‘cause I’ve heard that Mexico’s nice

Say goodbye to all my problems

For a wonderful Mexican life

My girlfriend’s always nagging

‘cause I’m out in the bars late at night

Well I know she’ll fell bad

And I’ll tell her I’m glad

When I find me a Mexican wife.

(Chorus)

Well I’ve learned to speak some Spanish

In the Mexican part of this town

So talking will be no problem

‘cause I’ve got this language down

quantos para un taco

donde este el bano

como se llama

lava sus manos

Work in this city is awful

I tried it in ’93.

And if I had a job I’d quit it right now

And run away happy and free,

(Chorus)
